It is not too late to SAVE THIS DATE...April 15th at 7 p.m. for  a  2021 Maryland General Assembly and  Legislative update.  Hear the latest from the experts - John Woolums, Legislative Director for MABE (Maryland Association of Boards of Education, and Mary Pat Fannon, Executive Director of PSSAM (Public School Superintendents' Association of Maryland). Timely and current information will be presented by both about recently passed legislation specific to education PreK to 12 in Maryland.  Join us to develop understanding for clarity, for advocacy and to engage your school community.

 

Audience:  Elementary, Middle and High School Administrators, Aspiring Leaders

PSEL Standard #8:  Meaningful Engagement of Families and Community: Understand, value, and employ the community’s cultural, social, intellectual, and political resources to promote student learning and school improvement. 

PSEL Standard #9: - Operations and Management: Know, comply with, and help the school community understand local, state, and federal laws, rights, policies, and regulations so as to promote student success.
